The Challenge
When Ringway took full ownership of its 12,500 sq ft Bleak Hall Depot in Milton Keynes, the goal was clear: transform an aging depot into a modern, functional, and uplifting workspace that truly reflects their values, community focus, collaboration, and employee wellbeing. The project needed to deliver a complete refurbishment while keeping the site fully operational, which meant careful planning and precision at every stage.
Our Role
iOTA Interiors was responsible for the full interior design and furniture specification of the workspace. From concept development to final installation, our design team ensured that every element supported Ringway’s objectives, from flow and functionality to comfort. We selected and supplied all furniture, coordinating logistics and installation to minimise disruption to the live site. Every detail was considered to create a seamless blend of aesthetics and practicality.
The Design
The design approach centred on openness, collaboration, and wellbeing. We introduced:
Collaboration zones for informal meetings and teamwork
Flexible meeting spaces designed for both focus and group sessions
Wellbeing areas offering quiet retreat and comfort
New Bench Desking for all employees
Meeting Rooms
Soft Seating
Breakout Furniture
The result is a contemporary, energising workspace that supports productivity while prioritising the wellbeing of Ringway’s team.
The Outcome
The new Ringway Milton Keynes depot has been completely revitalised in to a functional and inviting workspace that reflects both the company’s operational needs and its commitment to people and the planet. The project showcases the power of thoughtful design and seamless collaboration between Mango Interiors and iOTA Interiors.
