Overview:

SMA relocated their new UK headquarters to Altius House in Central Milton Keynes, occupying approximately 5,000 sq ft of office space. iOTA Interiors, was appointed to design and deliver a modern, functional workspace tailored to both staff needs and client engagement, making the most of the existing layout while introducing fresh new areas.

The Brief:

The goal was to create a dynamic office environment that supported a range of working styles. From focused individual tasks to collaborative teamwork and client training. The first-floor layout includes:

A spacious kitchen and breakout area for staff

A central zone featuring meeting rooms, collaborative spaces, and a dedicated quiet area

A welfare room and training room

Director and HR offices

The workspace was designed to accommodate 24 open-plan desks, a 12-person boardroom, two 6-person meeting rooms, and a fully equipped training room, all planned to promote productivity and flexibility.

Interior Fit-Out: Working with Mango Interiors Group - Partitioning, electrical and data installations, air conditioning modifications, tea point refurbishment, and new flooring throughout

Furniture Supply: All new furnishings, including desks, task chairs, storage solutions, meeting tables, soft collaborative seating, acoustic pods, plants, and canteen furniture
